  1. Hm. I agree with your cause insofar that I believe you should have the right to criticize religion.

But I truly wonder, how hard would you be willing to fight for those who criticize non-religion.

You got no problem defending the rights of those who blaspheme God, but what about the rights of those who blaspheme your beloved No-God?

  2. You are just kidding, right? We really hope you’re not serious. Considering the definition of “blaspheme” (irreverence toward holy personages, religious artifacts, customs, and beliefs), we’re not sure that is even possible. Since “no-god” is not a religion, it can not, by definition, be blasphemed. Yes, you could certainly criticize non-religion — that happens every frickin Sunday morning when we’re told we’re evil sinners. But this event is about protecting the right to free speech, which means protecting it for everyone, even the deluded.

  3. @ Venom Froggy:

I don’t believe in no god, and I don’t respect no god either.

Is that kind of what you mean?

Gee, I didn’t know I stood for tyranny and totalitarianism simply because I believe in God!! And all this time, I thought I WASN’T on Hitler’s side!

Good thing I have you atheists to show me just how much I despise human rights.

    “. . .even the deluded.”

Now who’s being holier-than-thou? You are displaying exactly the same prideful self-importance of those at church, only this time, it’s directed towards those who DO believe in God.

    You hypocrite.
